Lightwork Home Health Report

Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

The short version: we use your email, your address, and any answers you choose to give to build your report, send you a private link to it, and help you book a consultation if you want one. We may also follow up with you personally about your report. We never sell your personal data or share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Health answers are optional. If you tell us about health considerations in your household, such as asthma or a pregnancy, we use them to tailor your report’s recommendations and to prepare for a consultation. We never sell them or share them with anyone else for their marketing.

We keep saved reports. Your private link stops opening 30 days after we send it, but we keep the report and your answers so we can send it again or talk it through with you. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

1. Who this policy covers

Do Lightwork LLC, doing business as Lightwork Home Health (“Lightwork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the Lightwork Home Health Report: the free address report at report.lightworkhome.com, the emails that deliver it, and the PDF you can download from it (together, the “Report”).

This policy covers the Report. The lightworkhome.com website, where you start a report, is covered by the Lightwork Home Health privacy policy. Lightwork’s in-home assessments and the Lightwork Monitoring app have their own terms and notices.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details. The email address you enter on lightworkhome.com, which we use to send your report, and, if you choose to give them, your name and phone number.
  • Your address. The address you select, and what we derive from it: coordinates, ZIP code, city, state, and a broad region we use for scheduling.
  • Answers about your home. Optional: the type and age of your home, whether you rent or own it, how many adults, seniors, children, and pets live there, how you cook, where your water comes from, whether you have noticed leaks, visible mold, or musty smells, products you use at home, the home’s square footage, and how many rooms get heavy use.
  • Health considerations. Optional: whether anyone in the home is pregnant or deals with asthma, allergies, eczema or skin issues, headaches or migraines, fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, mold sensitivity or MCAS, or an autoimmune or chronic condition. You choose from a list; the Report does not ask for diagnoses, medications, or free-text health notes.
  • Your report.The environmental data we look up for your address, the ratings and recommendations we produce, a Google Street View photo of the home’s exterior where one exists, and an illustrated version of that photo.
  • How you found us. Campaign parameters (such as utm_source) on the link you followed, which tell us which partner, newsletter, or campaign referred you.
  • Technical information. IP address, browser and device information, request and security logs, and whether our report email was delivered. For rate limiting we keep your email address and IP address only as one-way hashes.

3. Environmental information, not health care

The Report estimates environmental conditions around a home from public and commercial data. It is not a medical service, and Lightwork does not use your answers to diagnose, treat, or make health-care decisions about anyone. The Report’s findings are estimates and are not a substitute for an in-home assessment or for advice from a clinician.

We treat health considerations you share as sensitive. We use them only for the purposes described in this policy: to shape your report’s recommendations (for example, choosing an air purifier suited to allergies), to prepare for a consultation you book, and to improve how we assess homes. You can leave them blank and still get a full report.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • look up environmental data for your address and build your report;
  • save your report and email you a private link to it;
  • tailor recommendations to your answers, such as sizing an air purifier from your square footage and rooms;
  • prefill the booking form when you choose to book a consultation, and prepare for that conversation;
  • follow up with you personally, by email or phone, about your report and how Lightwork could help with your home;
  • prevent abuse, such as limiting how many reports one person or network can request, and keep the service secure;
  • understand how people use the Report and fix problems, using product analytics, session recordings that hide what you type, and error reports, as described below;
  • improve our methods and create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably linked to a person or home. We do not try to re-identify that information; and
  • comply with law, enforce our terms, and establish or defend legal claims.

You can ask us to stop following up at any time by replying to any message or emailing hello@lightworkhome.com. If you also signed up for Lightwork emails on our website, that sign-up is governed by the website’s policy and you can unsubscribe from any of those emails.

5. Who receives information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Report, in the amounts each one needs, and under contractual or legal restrictions:

  • Hosting and storage: Vercel (hosting and logs) and Supabase (our database and file storage).
  • Address lookup and imagery: Google Maps Platform receives the address text you type and your home’s coordinates, for address suggestions, geocoding, Street View, air quality, pollen, and solar data.
  • Illustration: OpenRouter and Google receive the Street View photo, and nothing else, to create the illustrated version of your home. They do not receive your address, email, or answers.
  • Environmental data: Open-Meteo, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Transportation noise data hosted on ArcGIS, and NASA receive your home’s coordinates, or a map tile that contains them. Water quality is looked up by ZIP code in our own database.
  • Email: Mailgun delivers your report email, which includes your address and private link. Open and click tracking is turned off.
  • Product analytics and errors: PostHog receives your email address, the pages you view and the buttons you click, the referring campaign source, error details, and a recording of your visit. Recordings hide everything you type, your street address, email, name, phone number, health answers, and your home’s photo. Error details never include your personal information. We send nothing to PostHog when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
  • Internal notifications: Slack receives your name, email, phone, address, and referral source when you request a report, so our team can follow up.
  • Scheduling:when you open the booking calendar, Calendly receives the name, email, phone number, and region you gave us so the form is prefilled, along with the campaign parameters of the link you followed. Calendly’s own privacy policy applies to the booking.

The Report’s air purifier link opens Lightwork’s purifier tool with your room sizes and a filtration goal, which may reflect allergy, asthma, or mold-sensitivity answers. It does not include your name, email, or address.

If a partner’s link brought you to the Report, we record the link’s campaign parameters so we know who referred you. We do not share your report, your answers, or your contact details with that partner.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect someone’s safety, or protect our rights and systems, and as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing or advertising. The Report does not load advertising pixels.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The Report uses the cookies it needs to work: one that carries your email from our website to the report form (2 hours), one that keeps your report session while it is saved (24 hours), and one that lets your browser open your saved report until its link expires. It also keeps your in-progress request in your browser’s session storage for up to 2 hours, so an interrupted report can resume, and briefly holds your report link while the page opens it. PostHog sets one analytics cookie, shared with lightworkhome.com, that recognizes your browser across visits; it is not set when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. There are no advertising cookies.

7. How long we keep information

We keep saved reports and the information connected to them, including your address, answers, health considerations, contact details, and the home image, until you ask us to delete them. We keep them so we can send your report again, prepare for a consultation, and improve how we assess homes.

The private link in your email stops opening 30 days after we send it. That limits access to the report; it does not delete it. Records used for rate limiting expire on their own, and home images for reports that were never saved are deleted within a day. Our service providers keep logs for their own limited periods.

8. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and private storage for reports and images, and we store only a hash of each report link’s secret. No system is perfectly secure.

Your report link is private: anyone who has it can open the report until it expires, so forward it only to people you want to see it. Tell us at hello@lightworkhome.com if you think someone has a link they should not.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Every question about your home and health is optional. You can also ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, to stop using your health considerations, or to stop following up with you. When we delete a saved report, we delete the report, your answers, your contact details, and the home image, except where we must keep a limited record for legal or security reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, including the right to appeal a decision about your request, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.

Email hello@lightworkhome.comwith the subject “Report privacy request” and the email address you used for the report. We may need to verify that the request comes from you. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy appeal.”

10. Children

The Report is for adults. We ask how many children live in a home, but we do not ask for information about any individual child, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.

11. Changes and contact

We will post any changes to this policy here with a new effective date, and give additional notice when the law requires it. We will ask for your consent before using information we already hold for a materially different purpose where the law requires it.

Questions, security concerns, and privacy requests go to hello@lightworkhome.com. Lightwork’s legal name is Do Lightwork LLC.
